DO YOU NOTICE? REVEAL THE ORDINARY MOMENTS WE OFTEN OVERLOOK.

In a city filled with constant movement and mental noise, everyday surroundings often become invisible. UNNOTICED explores how design can interrupt routine and encourage people to become more present in the spaces they inhabit.

The Insight: People rarely stop to notice the ordinary, but unexpected visual interventions can turn familiar spaces into moments of awareness and discovery.

The project proposes a series of reflective installations in Plaça Catalunya, Barcelona, designed to reveal overlooked moments and activate the surrounding space. Through color, reflection, and strategic placement, the installations invite people to pause, look again, and become aware of their surroundings, transforming everyday movement into an opportunity for presence and interaction.

Once installed in Plaça Catalunya, UNNOTICED became part of the everyday movement of the square. People stopped, looked closer, took photographs, and interacted with the reflections in different ways. These spontaneous reactions became an important part of the project, showing how a simple intervention can create curiosity and briefly change the way people experience a familiar public space.
