Emiliano Rosillo

Hemisferio is the design practice of Emiliano Rosillo (b. 2003), a multidisciplinary designer working across product design, research, and material culture to explore how objects shape identity, memory, and community. Born in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, Rosillo operates at the intersection of observation, material experimentation, and visual storytelling. He approaches design as a framework for interpreting social and cultural phenomena through the rituals, spaces, and items of everyday life. Focusing frequently on food culture and spaces of gathering, his work positions objects as mediators between individuals and their environments. Through critical inquiry and narrative construction, Hemisferio proposes new readings of contemporary culture—examining the tensions between tradition and contemporaneity, as well as the role of materiality in shaping shared meaning. His work has been featured in national and international platforms, including Otras Metáforas at Milan Design Week 2025.
