In contemporary workspaces, flexibility is essential as users constantly adapt their environments to different needs and ways of working. OE1 Storage Cart explores this principle through a modular storage system designed to complement the OE1 collection by Herman Miller.
The Insight: A workspace should adapt to the user rather than define how the user works. Modularity allows objects and spaces to evolve alongside changing needs.
Inspired by the collection’s aesthetic, morphology, identity, and functionality, the project proposes a configurable organizer composed of one large tray and three smaller recycled paper storage boxes. Each component can be freely arranged within the tray, allowing users to personalize their workspace while maintaining the visual language and practicality of the OE1 system.
